Job description:

We are seeking dedicated individuals who are passionate about enhancing the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities by delivering exceptional in-home care with empathy, excellence, and integrity. Our services are offered throughout Stark County, including Canton, Hartville, East Sparta, Massillon, and Louisville, and we are also licensed to operate in Summit and Franklin Counties.

Responsibilities
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will primarily be responsible for providing companionship and assistance with daily living activities, including but not limited to:

  • Facilitating social companionship
  • Assisting with various daily living tasks and providing reminders
  • Offering transportation to appointments, errands, and social outings
  • Performing light housekeeping and meal preparation
  • Providing standby assistance with personal hygiene
  • Ensuring overnight safety assistance

Qualifications

  • No healthcare certification is required
  • A compassionate and caring demeanor
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred
  • The ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds
