Job description:
The Data Cloud Solutions (DCS) Product Manager (PMM) is tasked with developing and executing comprehensive go-to-market strategies and solutions for all DCS products and services. This position requires a thorough oversight of workflow processes across various departments pertaining to product management tasks, pricing, adherence to quality control standards, and compliance with industry best practices. The PMM will collaborate closely with teams including Professional Services, Products, Engineers, Sales, Contracted Resellers, and Product Development.
The ideal candidate should possess substantial enterprise software product experience, strong conceptual and analytical problem-solving abilities, exceptional communication and writing skills, and a detail-oriented approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
- Develop and maintain a visual roadmap for all products, solutions, and services (including both DCS and Woolpert) utilizing a project management platform to facilitate both high-level and detailed visibility of roadmaps and go-to-market activities.
- Evaluate existing and emerging products, solutions, and services to identify and address go-to-market deficiencies.
- Perform 4P/3C analyses to assess the market viability of prospective DCS/Woolpert-developed products and quick-start solutions.
- Collaborate with Product Development teams to ensure alignment on roadmap and go-to-market updates.
- Partner with stakeholders in Business Planning to provide insights that inform go-to-market strategies and their expected impact.
- Create clear and compelling product messaging and positioning to articulate customer value and distinguish Woolpert and its offerings in the market.
- Ensure all relevant teams are equipped with the necessary materials to effectively promote products, solutions, and services (from both Partners and Woolpert), including but not limited to sales playbooks, marketing collateral, webpages, and technical documentation.
- Plan and implement campaigns surrounding key product, solution, and service launches.
- Establish relevant performance metrics and track these for visibility among stakeholders.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, coupled with 15+ years of experience in product marketing or product management focusing on the CAMA industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and product management service technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in developing market and product strategies for technology, particularly in the B2B SaaS sector.
- Familiarity with project management platforms such as Asana, Jira, or ClickUp.
- Possess strong storytelling abilities to simplify complex technical concepts, alongside robust messaging and content development skills.
- Experience managing Product Management personnel and departmental budgets.
- A clear understanding of Product Owner responsibilities, including the creation of Requirement Documents.
- A history of achieving impactful business outcomes with a strong focus on results.
- Excellent attention to detail, with a high standard for quality in both written materials and presentations.
