Job Overview
At Sunrise, our Director of Sales plays a pivotal role in fostering relationships and generating referrals, a cornerstone of success within this sales leadership position. A keen awareness of local market dynamics and potential referral sources is essential for effective lead generation.

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and nurture lead sources.
  • Organize strategic marketing events on-site to promote the Sunrise narrative.
  • Implement creative strategies to convert leads into resident move-ins.
  • Mentor and train new team members as they develop within the Sunrise sales team.
  • Enhance the community’s brand reputation and achieve occupancy goals.

Qualifications:

  • Proven sales experience in senior living, hospitality, or a related healthcare environment (e.g., hospital, skilled nursing, long-term care, hospice, CCRC, or home health) is preferred.
  • A successful track record in identifying and building local relationships to drive business growth.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to facilitate small-group presentations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, coupled with a genuine passion for seniors, essential for fostering relationships.
  • Flexibility to work one weekend day per week (typically a Tuesday-Saturday schedule) and occasional evenings as required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software; experience with a client relationship management tool for tracking leads is preferred.
