This pivotal role demands a profound understanding of franchise operations, food safety protocols, and a strong dedication to education. The ideal candidate will possess the capability to collaborate effectively across all levels of personnel, including team members, store leadership, franchisees, and executives. Our organization embodies a “food safety first” culture, and this individual will play a crucial role in promoting that philosophy from initial onboarding through ongoing training.

Cost consciousness and budget management will be crucial for success in this role.
  • Franchisee Onboarding: Design onboarding processes that seamlessly introduce new franchisees to our company culture, policies, and operational procedures.
  • Ongoing Training: Establish initiatives for continuous learning, such as workshops, seminars, and online resources, to keep franchisees informed of industry trends and best practices. This includes developing rollout schedules for introducing new procedures and programs effectively.
  • Training Materials: Regularly update and maintain training manuals, videos, and educational resources to support training programs, including launching new materials for both current and prospective franchisees.
  • Performance Evaluation: Create and implement performance evaluation tools to assess the efficacy of training programs and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Compliance: Ensure franchisees adhere to company standards, policies, and procedures through effective training and ongoing support.
  • Communication: Establish and nurture open communication channels with franchisees to address their concerns and provide solutions to operational challenges. This role necessitates excellent facilitation skills and the ability to present to diverse audiences.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing, and product development, to synchronize training programs with the overall objectives of the company.
  • Franchisee Support: Provide ongoing assistance and guidance to franchisees, addressing operational issues and offering resources to enhance their business performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in franchisee training with a demonstrated record of achievement.
  • Strong comprehension of franchise operations within the Food and Beverage industry, with preferred experience in an emerging brand.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to develop, test, validate, and implement impactful training programs.
  • Capacity to analyze and interpret P&L and KPI data to guide leadership in response to business opportunities.
  • Proficiency in training software and tools.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational capabilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking aptitude.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Wisetail is a plus.

Other Considerations:

  • Experience in franchising and the Food and Beverage industry.
