Job description:

Our franchise organization, M.O.R. Enterprise, LLC, operating as Golden Corral, is currently looking for enthusiastic and friendly individuals to become part of our team!

The Utility Person / Dishwasher plays a crucial role in enhancing our guests’ dining experience by ensuring exceptional cleanliness and hygiene standards. Given that cleanliness is a primary factor influencing guests’ decisions to revisit a restaurant, it is imperative for each Utility Person / Dishwasher to possess the skills, knowledge, and commitment necessary to excel in this role. Responsibilities include maintaining the overall cleanliness of both the interior and exterior of the restaurant, with dishwashing being a core function of this position.

Key Responsibilities:

Cleanliness:

  • Provide guests with immaculate silverware and dishes.
  • Uphold a clean and safe environment within the restaurant for both guests and team members.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the exterior of the building and surrounding parking areas.
  • Regularly check, clean, and restock restrooms.
  • Dispose of trash properly and ensure that the dumpster, trash cans, and back dock area remain clean.
  • Organize and thoroughly clean the utility area.
  • Adhere to the duty roster and ensure that cleanliness, service, and quality standards are consistently met.
  • Comply with all local health department regulations.

Operational Excellence:

  • Stock the Cook, Line, and Server areas with the necessary glassware, silverware, and dishes.
  • Ensure excellent organization, speed, and cleanliness in all tasks.
  • Report any equipment or facility issues to the Manager promptly.

Guest Service:

  • Understand and fulfill position responsibilities related to just-in-time delivery.
