As a Utility team member at SSP America, your responsibilities will include:

  • Enhancing the guest experience by maintaining hygienic work areas
  • Ensuring the cleanliness of all surfaces and equipment, including floors, ceiling tiles, walls, windows, worktables, hoods, vents, grills, refrigerators, service counters, and storage areas
  • Disposing of refuse in designated areas
  • Clearing and resetting tables in dining areas between seatings, and transporting serviceware to the kitchen for cleaning
  • Scraping food residues from dirty dishes, pots, and pans, washing them by hand or loading them into the dishwasher, and returning them to their proper storage locations
  • Cleaning equipment using designated chemicals to meet sanitary standards, which may include operating heavy equipment
  • Assisting guests with special requests and effectively communicating their needs to servers or supervisors
  • Loading and unloading supply trucks to facilitate the transfer of items between storage and work areas
  • Stocking, dating, rotating, and checking the temperatures of food items
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of six months of experience in a retail or food service environment
  • High school diploma preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in reading, speaking, and understanding the English language to effectively communicate with guests and follow instructions
  • Experience in addressing guest service issues
