In this role, you will hold total responsibility for ensuring an efficient, productive, and safe department that meets or exceeds daily production requirements within the Distribution Center. You will be dedicated to maintaining high standards of quality and service while fostering a productive, positive, and motivated workforce by spending a minimum of 90% of your shift actively engaging with the team on the floor, reviewing orders, and directing associates.

Key Responsibilities:
– Oversee daily departmental operations, including planning, workflow management, and resource allocation.
– Develop and motivate team members while ensuring high morale and adherence to the company culture.
– Establish and nurture effective relationships with business partners, including peers, management, union representatives, human resources, loss prevention, and transportation teams.
– Facilitate clear communication with associates, counterparts, peers, and management to enhance operational efficiency.
– Guarantee compliance with all safety and housekeeping standards.
– Drive continuous improvement by reviewing practices, methods, and processes, and making recommendations for enhancements.

Qualifications:
– Proven experience managing diverse teams of over 20 associates.
– 4-6 years of relevant experience.
– High school diploma required; college degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
– Strong communication, coaching, and development skills, coupled with proficiency in mathematics and computer applications.
– Demonstrated ability to motivate teams, resolve conflicts, and develop future leaders.
– Flexibility to support multiple shifts as needed.
