Position Summary: The District Event Marketing Manager is charged with recruiting, hiring, training, developing, and managing a team of Event Marketers to enhance brand visibility and generate sales leads within their designated district. This role includes sourcing direct-to-consumer events, managing budgets and resources, planning staff schedules, and ensuring the successful execution of events.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement event-based marketing strategies to create sales leads for follow-up by sales representatives.
– Identify, schedule, and curate an event calendar for the team of Event Marketers in the assigned district.
– Manage budgeting and staffing for local events.
– Attend trade shows, home shows, fairs, festivals, and community events, overseeing the event marketing team in lead generation efforts.
– Coordinate the setup and teardown of event marketing materials and equipment.
– Collaborate with local Operations and Installation Managers to enhance brand presence within the local market.
– Recruit, hire, train, and develop Event Marketers, establishing accountability through defined goals and KPIs.
– Develop timelines and organizational plans, ensuring clear internal communication for cohesion and transparency.
– Track and report on event metrics to assess performance and ROI.
– Exceed sales lead quotas based on established KPIs.
– Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Experience and Minimum Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
– A minimum of 2 years in a managerial role.
– Strong skills in recruiting and training personnel.
– Experience in large-scale budgeting and planning.
– Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
– Self-motivated with a proven track record of managing and developing others.
