Job Title: Donor Door Attendant

Company:

Location: Cleveland, OH

Pay: $12.46 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $12.46 for a “Donor Door Attendant” in Cleveland, OH, appears to be below the average wage for similar roles within the nonprofit and charitable sector, which typically ranges from $13 to $16 per hour depending on the organization and specific responsibilities involved. This position often requires customer service and organizational skills, and competitive rates in the area may reflect the cost of living and demand for labor. Additionally, considering that minimum wage in Ohio is $10.10 as of 2023, while the offered rate is above that, it still may not be fully competitive when factoring in job responsibilities and the skill set required. Overall, this rate may make it challenging to attract and retain qualified candidates in a market that increasingly values fair compensation.

Job description:
Join our dynamic and flexible team at Goodwill Industries Greater Cleveland & East Central Ohio. We are seeking full-time Donation Receiving Associates for our Middleburg Heights, Ohio location. Ideal candidates will be team-oriented individuals who demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, treat others with respect, and prioritize a people-first approach—values that are at the core of our organization.

As a Donation Receiving Associate, you will engage with our generous community members as they donate goods at our stores. By becoming part of the Goodwill team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference. We offer a rewarding and diverse work environment with a supportive team that is committed to both each other and our community’s impact. Profits from the sale of donated goods in our retail stores directly fund our outreach services, allowing us to invest in our community through employment training, social services, and family-support initiatives. Additionally, your role will contribute to minimizing waste by keeping significant amounts of materials out of landfills.

We are proud to offer a range of valuable benefits, including:
– A bonus incentive plan
– Generous paid time off
– Retirement planning with a company match

Full-time employees are also eligible for:
– Medical, dental, and vision benefits at a significantly reduced premium cost
– Short-term and long-term disability insurance at no cost
– Life insurance at no cost
