AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $29.50 for a “Driver, Hourly CDL-A” position in Romulus, MI, is generally competitive when compared to the industry standards for this role. As of late 2023, CDL-A drivers in Michigan typically earn between $25 to $35 per hour, depending on factors like experience, the specific employer, and additional responsibilities or benefits offered. Rates can vary slightly by region and employer reputation, but $29.50 aligns well with the market, especially considering the increasingly high demand for qualified truck drivers in the wake of supply chain challenges.
