Job Position Description:

We are seeking a Cleaner for executive offices, with a schedule from Monday to Friday, four hours each evening from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., at a rate of $15.25 per hour. This role is ideal for an individual who is responsible, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining discretion in order to provide a clean environment for key members of our client’s team. The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Performing all cleaning duties for facilities using the provided ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures.
  • Carrying out daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, minimal mopping, vacuuming, emptying trash, cleaning personal spaces, dusting, and adhering to a preset schedule.
  • Maintaining an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Utilizing proper personal protective equipment (PPE) where required.
  • Opening and locking the suite upon completion of duties.
  • Having 1-2 years of experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper is an asset, though not required.
  • On-the-job training will be provided to candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
  • Previous experience with a professional janitorial company, in an office complex, hotel, hospital, or school setting is advantageous.
  • Consistently arriving on time and being dependable.
  • Demonstrating respect and understanding of personal property.
  • Communication in English is mandatory.

Physical Demands and Qualifications:

  • The role requires constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, and reaching overhead and forward. Candidates must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to read and follow cleaning instructions.
  • Capability to differentiate between various cleaning products and their appropriate uses.
