Immediately Hiring! Electro-Mechanical Technician, Experienced, Huron OH
Starting pay: $29.76 – $35.72 per hour based on experience, plus a $1.00 shift differential.
Shift: Evening (2nd) 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you will play a vital role in our operations, ensuring that high-quality products are available to our customers when they need them. Your contributions will have a direct impact on people’s lives.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct repairs and preventive maintenance on belts, piping, filters, mixers, valves, bearings, mechanical seals, and pumps.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and perform proof tests as needed to identify and resolve issues, actively preventing future problems.
  • Install, test, and maintain control devices, pressure-sensing units, and flow measurement devices.
  • Interpret and work from detailed technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Operate independently with minimal supervision and effectively manage self-directed work.
  • Document work schedules and tasks completed accurately.
  • Perform basic welding and fabrication tasks.
  • Maintain general housekeeping within the work area.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance, or a related field.
  • Proficient in reading, interpreting, and understanding technical documents and diagrams of plant equipment.
  • Capable of confined space entry and working at heights.
  • The position necessitates frequent lifting, climbing, standing, walking, crouching, squatting, bending, and kneeling.
  • Availability for weekend work may be required.
