The entry-level corporate controls position requires the successful candidate to support manufacturing operations, assist with equipment implementation and startup, and develop electrical control systems and designs. Responsibilities include PLC and HMI programming, data collection, and optimizing manufacturing process control systems. This role directly supports a manufacturing site, with assignments on the AM shift from 6:00 AM to 6:10 PM, resulting in a rotating work schedule of 36/48 hours per week, including weekends.

Education/Experience:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 1-5 years of experience in manufacturing equipment controls engineering.

Required Skills/Competencies:

  • Proficiency in controls engineering techniques applicable to global facilities across North America, Asia, and Europe.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical and electronic control systems.
  • Understanding of global manufacturing processes and safety requirements.
  • Proficiency in using AutoCAD software for electrical schematics and panel layouts.
  • Familiarity with programming Rockwell Automation Logix platform PLCs, including ladder and functional block diagrams.
