Job Description
Job Title: Entry Level Tax Preparer
Company: Jackson Hewitt
Location: Niles, OH
Pay: $14 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $14 for an “Entry Level Tax Preparer” in Niles, OH, is generally below the industry standard. According to various salary reports and job postings, entry-level tax preparers typically earn between $16 to $20 per hour, depending on factors such as the specific firm, local demand, and the individual’s background. In Ohio, especially in regions near larger cities, compensation tends to align with these figures. Thus, while $14 per hour may be acceptable for some entry-level positions, it may not adequately reflect the skills required and the market expectations for this role, potentially making it less competitive for attracting candidates.
