GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under the guidance of the Environmental Services Management Team, this role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and serviceability of designated work areas, the care of assigned equipment, and the economical and efficient utilization of all supplies. The position requires performing a variety of custodial duties to ensure a sanitary and orderly condition across multiple Henry Ford Health System locations.
The candidate must be available to work every other weekend and every other holiday, with variable shift times.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
A High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred. Previous custodial experience is also preferred. The individual must be able to interact directly with the patient population, as the role demands high visibility. A consistently high level of customer service and a ‘Patients First’ mindset are essential.

This position is within the Henry Ford Medical Group, Department of Housekeeping-Breech, and operates on the evening shift. The union code is not applicable.
