GENERAL SUMMARY:
– Under the supervision of the Environmental Services Management Team, this position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and servicing of designated work areas, ensuring the proper care of assigned equipment, and utilizing all supplies in an economical and efficient manner.
– The role entails performing a variety of custodial duties to uphold a sanitary and orderly environment across multiple Henry Ford Health System locations.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
– A High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
– Previous custodial experience is advantageous.
– Ability to interact directly with the patient population is essential, as the position requires high visibility.
– A consistent display of exceptional customer service and a strong ‘Patients First’ sensibility is required.
