Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and federal/state regulations.
  • Oversee light and heavy housekeeping, as well as laundry aide functions across various shifts.
  • Conduct staff training, quality control checks, and in-service sessions; ensure the timely execution of projects and programs.
  • Maintain comprehensive records regarding income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment using HCSG computer software.
  • Serve as a liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff, effectively communicating directives.
  • Ensure the proper use of protective equipment and safe handling of cleaning solutions, in compliance with safety protocols.
  • Demonstrate consistent attendance and punctuality while completing tasks in a timely manner.
  • Represent HCSG positively through courteous interactions with supervisors, colleagues, client staff, residents, and visitors.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in healthcare housekeeping and supervisory roles preferred.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership in daily operations.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is required.
  • Capable of lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling a maximum of 50 pounds, along with the ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended durations.
  • Ability to perform routine repetitive tasks consistently.
  • Must be comfortable working around food and cleaning products.
  • Proficient in following oral and written instructions and performing daily repetitive tasks.
  • Residency within the service area is required.
