Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and supervise housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and federal and state regulations.
  • Perform and lead teams in various housekeeping and laundry duties across different shifts.
  • Conduct staff training, quality control assessments, and in-service sessions while ensuring projects and programs are completed in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment using HCSG computer systems.
  • Serve as the liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff, effectively communicating directives.
  • Utilize protective gear appropriately and ensure the safe use of cleaning solutions, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Demonstrate consistent attendance, punctuality, and timely completion of assigned tasks.
  • Represent HCSG positively through courteous interactions with supervisors, colleagues, client staff, residents, and guests.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Two years of experience in healthcare housekeeping and supervision is preferred.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is required.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, and engage in extended periods of standing, sitting, bending, and walking.
  • Capability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
  • Must be able to work in proximity to food and cleaning products.
  • Ability to follow both oral and written instructions.
  • Residency within the service area is required.
