Position Summary
Our Manager-In-Training (MIT) program is an exciting opportunity for aspiring leaders to learn and grow within a well-established company. As part of our team, you will participate in a tailored interactive training program lasting approximately sixteen (16) weeks, focused on managing your own account across various essential functions, including:
- General Training & Comprehension: Master the roles of housekeeper, heavy housekeeper/floor technician, and laundry worker while learning to operate industrial cleaning equipment.
- Leadership Development: Engage in training, quality control, and in-servicing staff while adhering to policies and federal/state regulations.
- Policies & Procedures: Provide guidance to uphold quality standards, inventory management, safety protocols, and customer service expectations.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
- Training Responsibilities: Oversee training and quality assurance efforts to meet HCSG standards.
- Management Functions: Manage payroll, staffing patterns, coaching, discipline, purchasing, inventory maintenance, and budgeting.
Additional responsibilities include effective communication of directives, adherence to safety measures, punctuality, and ensuring a positive experience for both customers and residents.
Qualifications
- Strong positive attitude with the ability to follow both oral and written instructions, performing routine tasks consistently.
- Demonstrated leadership skills post-training, with the ability to work autonomously and safely.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting, including web-based systems.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as mandated.
- Capability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, push/pull the same weight, and stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Willingness to work with food and cleaning products.
- Residence within the service area.
