Job description:
The primary responsibility of the Estimator is to deliver an outstanding customer experience while creating comprehensive estimates and coordinating repair needs. This includes maintaining effective communication with customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process. The Estimator is tasked with accurately assessing vehicle damage and documenting necessary repairs and parts replacement on the damage appraisal. A key aspect of this role is to align with team members to ensure that repair facility performance indicators (KPIs) are met, thereby enhancing the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

– Diligently document and update all customer interactions with relevant and precise details.
– Provide customers with accurate and timely information, guiding them seamlessly through the repair process to ensure exceptional service.
– Adhere to all insurance client requirements, processes, and metrics.
– Follow the WOW Operating Way standards concerning customer drop-offs, repair planning, communication, and delivery.
– Relay customer requests and needs to appropriate team members.
– Create a welcoming atmosphere by displaying positive energy when greeting customers in person and over the phone.
– Maintain a thorough understanding of all required insurance programs and procedures.
– Participate in daily “production walks” with the Management Team as required.
– Offer support to team members as needed.
– Attend monthly health and safety meetings, as well as other staff meetings, if required.
– Take part in training sessions and workshops recommended by the Store Manager.
– Contribute to maintaining the store’s KPIs by optimizing individual role performance.
– Uphold the company’s core values of honesty, integrity, and respect.

Education and Experience Requirements:

– Knowledge of vehicle repairs and Original Equipment (OE) guidelines.
– High School Diploma or equivalent.
– Ability to effectively seek answers to inquiries.
– Basic computer skills.
– Minimum of one year of experience in a compliance-focused role for Direct Repair Programs (DRPs).
– Willingness to complete I-CAR training.
– Valid Driver’s License.

Required Skills and Abilities:

– Proficiency in locating appropriate resources for solutions.
– Basic computer literacy.
– Commitment to compliance in DRP standards with a minimum of one year of experience.
– Openness to completing I-CAR training.
– Possession of a valid Driver’s License.
