Job description:

Home Instead, serving the Ottawa County and Erie County areas, is seeking experienced Care Professionals (CNA, HHA, STNA, DCS) to join our dedicated Afternoon team. Shift hours are flexible, ranging from 12 PM to 5 PM, 5 PM to 10 PM, or a combination thereof (e.g., 12 PM to 6 PM).

Care Professional Responsibilities:

  • Assist older adults in thriving within their home environment
  • Foster lasting relationships within the community
  • Participate in household tasks, including light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders
  • Provide incidental transportation for appointments, errands, and activities
  • Assist with personal hygiene care, as needed (including toileting, dressing, and bathing)

Caregiver Skills and Qualifications:
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to treat and care for older adults and their property with dignity and respect, showcasing patience and reliability. Additionally, applicants must be able to successfully pass a background check, DMV check, and drug screening. A valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance are mandatory. Applicants must be 21 years or older and have a minimum of six months of senior care experience preferred.
