THE JOB:
As an Executive Host in our player marketing department, your primary responsibility will be to enhance the guest experience by fostering brand loyalty across our various products and services. By understanding the unique stories of our guests, you will deliver memorable experiences that resonate long after their stay.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Develop and nurture relationships with current and potential guests, ensuring a high level of player recognition and service.
- Engage with guests to promote MGM Grand Detroit and our other properties, fostering customer loyalty and encouraging repeat visits.
- Assess guest play to provide tailored incentives and authorize limited comp allowances as needed.
- Safeguard the confidentiality of casino guest information by strictly enforcing privacy measures.
- Collaborate with a diverse team of enthusiastic professionals in a dynamic, fast-paced environment to meet company objectives.
- Respond promptly to all guest requests, inquiries, and concerns.
- Take ownership of the guest experience, leveraging problem-solving skills to exceed guest expectations.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Possesses hospitality sales and/or management experience.
- Previous experience as a Casino Host is preferred.
- Displays high energy, a positive attitude, and enjoys having fun while delivering exceptional work.
- Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
- Works effectively as part of a team.
- Exhibits a welcoming and engaging demeanor.
- Is self-motivated, with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effectively handles multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Displays outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
