Job Description
Job Title: Extension Program Instructor
Company: Michigan State University
Location: East Lansing, MI
Pay: $45900 per year
AI Pay Analysis: To analyze the hourly rate of $45,900 per year for an Extension Program Instructor in East Lansing, MI, we first convert the annual salary to an hourly wage, which is approximately $22.04 (assuming a standard 40-hour work week and 52 weeks per year). This rate may be considered low compared to national averages for similar educational or community outreach roles, where hourly wages often range from $25 to $35 or more, depending on experience and specific responsibilities. Additionally, salaries for educational roles in Michigan can vary, but they generally align more closely with the higher end of this spectrum, especially in a university town like East Lansing. Therefore, this hourly rate appears to be below competitive levels and may not effectively attract qualified candidates in the context of the local job market and industry standards.
