As an Extrusion Operator, your responsibilities will include operating an extruder machine safely, producing high-quality products with minimal scrap, meeting production schedules, and maintaining a clean work area. The potential starting pay for this role may reach up to $22.00 per hour, depending on your prior experience.

Additionally, your duties will encompass:

– Equipment Operation: You will operate an extruder machine to manufacture film while conducting light maintenance on the assigned machine and reporting any significant issues to your supervisor or lead.
– Instruction Adherence: You will read, comprehend, and follow all work instructions to ensure the production of products that meet established standards for production, scrap, and quality.
– Compliance Assurance: You will maintain departmental compliance with all certification requirements and uphold good housekeeping practices in accordance with AIB/ISO standards. It is essential to ensure that the quality of products remains at or above the required specifications.

Job Requirements:

– A minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
– Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
– Proficient math, measurement, and attention to detail skills.
– Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and also work independently.
– Willingness to work a 12-hour schedule (2 days on, 2 days off, etc.).
– Availability to work overtime as needed.

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
