Addus Homecare is actively seeking Home Care Aides in the Metro Detroit and Downriver areas. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care, including assistance with dressing, bathing, and grooming
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, dishwashing, meal preparation, vacuuming, and bed making
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to clients

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Clean criminal background check required
  • Reliable transportation, either by personal vehicle or public transit
  • Authorized to work lawfully in the United States
  • Three references (two professional and one personal) will be required at the time of application
  • Successful completion of pre-service Home Care Aide training is mandatory
  • Must exhibit reliability, courtesy, honesty, energy, and a caring disposition
