Addus Homecare is actively seeking Home Care Aides to join our team in the Metro Detroit and Downriver areas. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with personal care, including dressing, bathing, and grooming
  • Provide and/or assist with light housekeeping duties, such as laundry, dishwashing, meal preparation, vacuuming, and bed-making
  • Offer companionship to clients

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Clean criminal background check is mandatory
  • Reliable transportation is required, either by personal vehicle or public transit
  • Authorized to work lawfully in the United States
  • Three references are required upon application (two professional and one personal)
  • Successful completion of pre-service Home Care Aide training is necessary
  • Applicants must be reliable, courteous, honest, energetic, and compassionate
