Addus Homecare is actively seeking Home Care Aides in the Metro Detroit and Downriver areas. If you possess experience in homecare, whether through work in a nursing home or personal caregiving for family members, we invite you to join our team.

What responsibilities will you have?

  • Provide personal care, including dressing, bathing, and grooming
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishes, meal preparation, vacuuming, and bed making
  • Offer companionship to clients

What are our requirements?

  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older
  • A clean criminal background check is mandatory
  • Reliable transportation is required, whether by car or public transport
  • Must be authorized to work legally in the United States
  • Three references (two professional and one personal) will be needed at the time of application
  • Successful completion of pre-service Home Care Aide training is required
  • Candidates should demonstrate reliability, courtesy, honesty, energy, and compassion
