Job description:

The Manager of Field Commercial Sales is responsible for the effective management and oversight of a Field Sales team dedicated to promoting the WOW! Business portfolio, which includes standard business products aimed at small to medium enterprises and integrated communication services for larger organizations with multiple locations. To drive sales revenue and meet corporate objectives, the Manager will optimize team staffing, ensure performance excellence, and provide comprehensive training for sales personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the WOW! Business portfolio, including Ethernet, Internet, and Voice offerings to effectively lead a team selling to businesses with 5-300 employees.
  • Ensure the retention and development of qualified Field Sales representatives through strategic selection, training, performance appraisals, and motivational practices.
  • Develop individualized business plans for each Field Sales team member and coordinate sales promotions and incentives aligned with organizational goals.
  • Monitor team performance to ensure achievement of sales targets and adherence to quality standards.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to employees, addressing performance issues in accordance with company policies, fostering continuous improvement.
  • Maintain 100% compliance with Salesforce.com, managing sales activity records and forecasts related to business objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance functional effectiveness and efficiency across the Commercial Sales territory.
  • Implement best practices to improve overall team performance and drive success.
  • Lead by example, setting a productive pace for the team and motivating sales representatives to exceed their targets.
  • Facilitate ongoing training for team members concerning sales strategies and compliance with organizational training requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
