Position Overview:
As a Field Service Technician Apprentice, you will engage in an apprentice-style program leading to certification. Your role will involve working at job sites, conducting various tests, installations, and repairs, while utilizing our proprietary software, TANCS, to document your findings.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform site assessments and surveys
  • Conduct leak tests on fuel storage tanks and piping systems
  • Install equipment and test tank gauge systems
  • Record and analyze test results, effectively communicating findings to the Operations team
  • Manage and report inventory of parts and supplies within your company vehicle

Qualifications:

  • Mechanical aptitude with experience in trades such as HVAC, plumbing, mechanics, electrical work, carpentry, or cable technology preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and perform physical tasks including stooping, bending, and kneeling
  • Comfortable with climbing 20-foot extension ladders multiple times daily
  • Willingness to undergo a DOT physical, drug screening, DMV check, and background check
  • Basic computer skills for data entry
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to travel across multiple states, occasionally requiring overnight stays (hotel accommodations and a generous per diem provided)
