Position Overview:
As a Field Service Technician Apprentice, you will engage in an apprentice-style program until certification is achieved. Your responsibilities will include working on job sites to conduct various testing, installations, and repairs, utilizing our proprietary software, TANCS, to document your findings.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough site assessments and surveys
  • Perform leak tests on fuel storage tanks and associated piping systems
  • Install equipment and test tank gauge systems
  • Accurately enter and analyze test results, effectively communicating findings to the Operations team
  • Manage and report on inventory of parts and supplies from your company-assigned vehicle

Qualifications:

  • Mechanical aptitude with relevant experience in trades such as HVAC, plumbing, mechanics, electrical work, carpentry, or cabling
  • Capable of lifting up to 70 lbs and performing physical tasks including stooping, bending, and kneeling
  • Comfortable with frequent climbing of 20 ft extension ladders
  • Willingness to undergo a DOT physical, drug screening, DMV check, and background check
  • Basic computer skills for data entry
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Willingness to travel across multiple states, with occasional overnight stays (hotel accommodations and a generous per diem will be provided)
