Field Services Technician I

Position Summary: The Field Services Team at Mercury Wireless is the customer-facing segment of our organization. Our technicians embody professionalism in both attitude and appearance while proactively addressing our customers’ needs. They diligently adhere to installation and safety protocols, as well as follow instructions from the Field Team Leader.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
– Install broadband equipment at customer locations.
– Interact with subscribers and represent the company with professionalism.
– Configure and connect customers’ home equipment to the Mercury Network.
– Troubleshoot issues related to broadband customer equipment.
– Support the sales team with localized marketing initiatives.

Skills & Requirements:
– Adhere to cabling procedures for residential and commercial wiring.
– Comfortable working in elevated environments such as ladders, roofs, attics, and crawl spaces.
– Possess basic mechanical skills.
– Familiarity with operating basic hand and power tools.
– Proficient with basic computer skills.
– Knowledge of computer networking essentials.
– Utilize PC-based applications for programming and diagnosing communication equipment.
– Maintains a clean driving record and holds a valid driver’s license.
– Self-motivated and customer service-oriented, with a professional demeanor.
– Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in written form.
