Job description:

A manufacturing company is currently seeking Filling Operators who will be responsible for the accurate and timely filling and packaging of products. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with additional hours on Fridays as needed; ample overtime opportunities are available.

Job Duties:

  • Calculate yield, gauge tanks, label, and stencil containers as required.
  • Filter products according to established instructions and adhere to capping protocols.
  • Palletize materials and execute stretch wrapping of pallets as necessary.
  • Review special instructions and implement measures to minimize waste and spills.
  • Follow procedures for clean checks, retain samples, and perform equipment inspections.
  • Comply with all company safety regulations and housekeeping protocols.
  • Maintain up-to-date records and documentation.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Prior experience in a factory setting, particularly in packaging and chemical mixing, is essential.
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding instructions is necessary.
  • Ability to apply common sense and understanding in executing detailed but routine written or oral instructions.
  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 90 pounds.
  • Commitment to adhering to all company policies and procedures is required.
  • Candidates must possess Static Resistant Boots with SD Emblems.
  • A clean-shaven face is mandatory for proper respirator use, and a face covering must be worn at all times.
