Position:
The Sales Representative plays a crucial role in supporting the General Manager in driving new membership sales by actively attracting new members to the studio and facilitating their booking into introductory classes. Additionally, the Sales Representative is responsible for enhancing the retention of current members. While a background in fitness is preferred, it is not a strict requirement.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the General Manager with the sales processes, including lead generation, follow-ups, and closing techniques
  • Schedule and confirm introductory classes
  • Manage front desk operations, welcoming and checking in clients and prospects upon their arrival
  • Conduct facility tours, fostering relationships and identifying individual needs and preferences
  • Maintain a satisfactory level of personal sales production
  • Uphold and promote the objectives of the studio as a leader in fitness and wellness
  • Present available services to current and prospective members
  • Schedule quality appointments to meet monthly sales targets, including follow-ups with leads and those who miss introductory classes
  • Participate in special events such as health fairs, grand openings, marathons, and community outreach initiatives to promote the studio
  • Ensure the studio environment is clean and welcoming
  • Other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Exceptional sales, communication, and customer service skills are essential
  • Goal-oriented, with a proven ability to achieve sales targets in memberships for one-on-one and group assisted stretching, as well as retail products
  • Proficient in learning and using the ClubReady software system
  • Capacity to stand or sit for extended periods, up to 8 hours during the workday
  • Fluency in English with excellent communication skills, both in person and through phone and email interactions
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong computer skills are required
  • Daily and/or occasional travel may be necessary
