StretchLab is actively searching for a highly motivated, energetic Sales Representative with a strong passion for fitness and a commitment to fostering community engagement. Founded in 2015 in Venice, California, StretchLab is a leader in the one-on-one assisted stretching industry. Our co-founders, who hail from the personal training sector, have developed an array of services designed to empower clients to ‘Live Long.’ We pride ourselves on assembling a team of experts certified in diverse fields such as physical therapy, chiropractic medicine, yoga, and Pilates. Enlisting the world’s foremost authority on stretching and flexibility, StretchLab delivers exceptional stretching sessions through our proprietary Flexologist training program.
Position:
The Sales Representative plays a vital role in supporting the General Manager with new membership sales, focusing on attracting new members to the studio and scheduling them for Intro Classes. This position also involves strategies to retain existing members. While a fitness background is advantageous, it is not a requirement.
Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with the General Manager to facilitate the sales process, including lead generation, follow-up, and closing sales.
– Schedule and confirm Intro Classes.
– Manage front desk operations, greeting and checking in clients and prospects as they enter the studio.
– Conduct facility tours, building rapport by addressing individual needs and desires.
– Maintain an acceptable level of personal sales production.
– Articulate and uphold the club’s goals as a premier fitness and wellness provider.
– Present available services to both current and prospective members.
– Secure quality appointments to meet monthly sales targets and follow up on leads and missed Intro Classes.
– Participate in special events such as health fairs, grand openings, marathons, and community events to promote the studio.
– Ensure the studio environment remains clean and organized.
– Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
– Proven sales, communication, and customer service skills are essential.
– Goal-driven with a demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets in memberships for both individual sessions and group classes, as well as retail.
– Willingness to learn and effectively utilize the ClubReady software system.
– Capability to stand or sit for extended periods, up to 8 hours, during the workday.
– Fluency in English with strong communication skills in-person, over the phone, and via email.
– Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
– Proficient computer skills are necessary.
– Occasional daily travel may be required.
