Job description:
The Fitness Trainer will oversee the Planet Fitness group fitness program known as PE@PF. This role includes assisting new members in achieving their fitness objectives by designing tailored workout programs and providing instruction on the correct usage of equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
– Lead and manage the PE@PF program, which encompasses creating and adhering to the class schedule.
– Consult with members to understand their fitness goals and instruct them on the safe and effective use of gym equipment.
– Develop bi-weekly exercise updates that diversify the workout experience.
– Ensure class attendance meets requirements based on the size of the club and member traffic.
– Support front desk operations, which includes:
– Answering phones in a courteous manner and assisting callers with various inquiries.
– Checking members into the system efficiently.
– Facilitating new member sign-ups.
– Conducting tours for prospective members.
– Addressing member inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
