Job Description
Job Title: Fitness Trainer
Company: Planet Fitness
Location: Mentor, OH
Pay: $11 – 12 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $11 to $12 for a Fitness Trainer in Mentor, OH, appears to be below the industry standards for this role. According to various sources, such as the Bureau of Labor Statistics and job market analytics, fitness trainers in the U.S. generally earn between $15 and $25 per hour, with rates often higher in urban areas and for trainers with specialized certifications or experience. In Ohio, the average wage tends to align with the national figures but can fluctuate based on local demand, experience level, and the type of facility employing the trainer. Therefore, the rate offered in Mentor may not be competitive, potentially limiting the ability to attract qualified candidates.
