AI Pay Analysis: To analyze the hourly rate for a “Float Medical Assistant” in Southfield, MI, it’s essential to compare it with prevailing industry standards. As of late 2023, medical assistants in Michigan typically earn between $15 to $23 per hour, depending on experience, certifications, and specific job responsibilities. Given that the role of a float medical assistant often involves additional responsibilities, such as flexibility to work in various locations and adjusting to different specialties, the competitive rate would ideally be on the higher end of this spectrum. If the offered rate aligns or exceeds this range, it would be considered competitive and appropriate for the industry in that region; otherwise, it may be viewed as less attractive compared to other available positions in the healthcare field.
