AI Pay Analysis: To accurately analyze the hourly rate for a “Float Medical Assistant” in Warren, MI, it would be necessary to reference specific data regarding current wages for this position in that region. As of my last knowledge update in October 2023, the average hourly wage for medical assistants generally ranged from $15 to $20, depending on factors such as experience, certification, and specific job duties. Float Medical Assistants, who provide coverage in various departments, may command a slightly higher rate due to their versatility. • Maintain medical supplies and equipment, ensure proper sterilization of instruments, adhere to OSHA safety standards, and perform accurate, legal, and ethical documentation at all times.
  • Process patient phone messages, return calls, and route inquiries to the appropriate team members; contact patients to gather and relay important information to the physician.
  • Upon physician authorization, submit prescription requests to pharmacies. Leverage appropriate medical terminology while maintaining legal and ethical standards; authorized personnel will utilize the ChenMed Rx system for medication dispensing.
  • Provide health coaching to a designated group of patients, supporting their healthy lifestyle choices, with follow-up via weekly calls.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, adjusted as needed at the manager’s discretion.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
