Position Summary
- Heavy Housekeeper / Floor Technician: Responsible for the comprehensive maintenance of both hard surfaces and carpets, including dusting, mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction, and bonneting. Duties also include collecting trash, recycling, and soiled linens from units and ensuring proper disposal. Additional outside responsibilities may involve grounds maintenance.
- Safety: Adhere to safety protocols by utilizing protective gear and ensuring the safe and proper mixing of cleaning solutions. Report any equipment or cleaning product needs or malfunctions to your supervisor promptly. Maintain compliance with established standards, safety, and quality guidelines, while following infection control and universal precautions procedures.
- Punctuality: Demonstrate consistent attendance and promptness, completing assigned tasks according to the established schedule while responding to the paging system appropriately.
- Customer Experience: Represent HCSG positively by adhering to instructions and maintaining a courteous and cooperative demeanor with supervisors, co-workers, and client staff.
- Resident Experience: Engage in positive, pleasant, and tactful interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests.
Qualifications
- Maintain a positive attitude and the ability to follow both oral and written instructions, performing routine tasks diligently.
- After completing requisite training, apply leadership skills to fulfill all responsibilities independently while ensuring safety for yourself and others.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Must demonstrate reliability by being present at scheduled times.
- Compliance with COVID-19 Vaccination Policies as mandated by State, Local, and/or Customers is required.
- Must be capable of lifting and carrying a maximum of 50 pounds, pushing or pulling up to 50 pounds, and able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to perform routine and repetitive tasks continuously and work around food and cleaning products is essential.
- Residents must reside within the service area.
