Position Summary:
- Heavy Housekeeper / Floor Technician: Responsible for comprehensive floor maintenance of both hard surfaces and carpets, including dust and wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction, and bonneting in areas such as offices, resident rooms, corridors, lobbies, entrances, stairwells, and dining areas. Duties also include collecting trash, recycling, and soiled linens, as well as ensuring proper disposal. Additional outdoor responsibilities may include grounds policing.
- Safety: Adhere to safety protocols by using protective gear and ensuring cleaning solutions are mixed and used correctly. Report any equipment or cleaning supply issues to the supervisor promptly. Follow infection control and universal precautions to maintain a sanitary environment.
- Punctuality: Maintain consistent attendance and timely completion of assigned tasks according to the established schedule. Respond promptly to the paging system.
- Customer Experience: Positively represent HCSG through courteous interactions with supervisors, co-workers, and clients.
- Resident Experience: Engage in pleasant and respectful interactions with residents, staff, and guests.
Qualifications:
- Exhibit a positive attitude and follow oral and written instructions while performing routine tasks.
- After training, demonstrate leadership in fulfilling responsibilities independently while ensuring safety.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Must consistently arrive at work on schedule.
- Compliance with COVID-19 Vaccination Policies as per state, local, and client requirements.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as standing, sitting, bending, and walking for prolonged periods.
