Position Summary:
- Heavy Housekeeper / Floor Technician: Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of various floor surfaces in areas including offices, resident rooms, corridors, lobbies, entrances, stairwells, and public spaces such as dining areas. This role includes the collection of trash, recycling, and soiled linen, and ensures proper disposal methods. Additional responsibilities may involve outdoor tasks such as maintaining grounds cleanliness.
- Safety Protocols: Required to utilize protective gear during all tasks, ensuring the safe and proper use of cleaning solutions while adhering to all safety standards. Responsibilities also include timely reporting of equipment and product needs, and compliance with infection control procedures.
- Punctuality: Expected to maintain consistent attendance, complete assigned areas punctually, and respond to communication systems in a timely manner.
- Customer Experience: Representation of HCSG through adherence to instructions and courteous interactions with supervisors, colleagues, and clients.
- Resident Interaction: Ensure positive and tactful interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests.
Qualifications:
- A positive attitude with a willingness to follow both written and oral directions, performing routine tasks efficiently.
- Completion of training will enable the utilization of leadership skills to fulfill responsibilities independently and safely.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are mandatory.
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required by State, Local, and/or customer mandates.
- Ability to lift and carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull 50 pounds, and maintain physical activity through standing, sitting, bending, and walking for extended periods.
- Capability to work around food and various cleaning products.
- Candidates must reside within the service area.
