Position Summary

  • As a Heavy Housekeeper / Floor Technician, you will be responsible for the overall maintenance of hard surfaces and carpets, which includes dust and wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction, and bonneting in areas such as offices, resident rooms, corridors, lobbies, entrances, stairwells, and public spaces like dining rooms. You will also handle the collection and proper disposal of trash, recycling, and soiled linens. Additional outdoor duties may be assigned, including maintaining the grounds.
  • Safety: You will utilize protective gear as required and safely mix and use cleaning solutions while adhering to all safety protocols. Timely reporting of equipment and cleaning product needs is essential, as is compliance with established safety and quality guidelines. You must follow infection control and universal precautions to maintain a sanitary environment.
  • Punctuality: Consistent attendance and timely arrival are critical, as is the timely completion of assigned cleaning tasks according to the schedule. You should respond to the paging system promptly.
  • Customer Experience: You will positively represent HCSG by following instructions and maintaining courteous and cooperative relationships with supervisors, co-workers, and client staff.

Qualifications
