Responsibilities:
- Execute floor care tasks, including cleaning, buffing, and refinishing floors in resident rooms, common areas, and offices.
- Operate floor care equipment safely and efficiently.
- Keep accurate records of floor care activities and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Adhere to infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Engage positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing exemplary customer service.
- Complete other assigned duties as necessary.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous floor care experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to fulfill daily responsibilities.
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is required.
- Capable of lifting/carrying a maximum of 50 pounds and pushing/pulling a maximum of 50 pounds; must also be able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Able to perform routine and repetitive tasks continuously.
- Comfortable working around food and cleaning products.
- Proficient in following oral and written instructions to execute daily tasks accurately.
- Residency within the service area is required.
