Job description:

The position operates on a Monday through Friday schedule from 9 PM to 5:30 AM, with a pay rate of $18 per hour. The Floor Technician is responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of an assigned area, as well as performing snow removal duties as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
  • No prior experience is necessary; on-the-job training will be provided.
  • A high school diploma, GED, or college degree is not required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Customer service experience is advantageous.
  • A minimum of one year of related work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform cleaning and maintenance duties in various buildings and facilities.
  • Adhere to procedures for using chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
  • Notify the Manager of any minor or major repairs needed for building operating systems.
  • Establish and sustain effective communication and collaborative relationships with clients, colleagues, shift coordinators, supervisors, and managers.
  • Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards set forth by the Company, Clients, and relevant regulatory authorities.
  • Conduct thorough cleaning tasks including dusting furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment.
  • Move furniture, boxes, and equipment as necessary to facilitate cleaning, utilizing hand trucks when appropriate.
  • Clean glass surfaces, including interior partition glass, windows, and mirrors, using appropriate cleaning products and tools.
  • Wash and replace blinds as required.
  • Gather and dispose of trash.
  • Perform seasonal tasks such as snow removal, leaf raking, and grass cutting.
  • Clean and sanitize tabletops, chairs, and equipment in dining areas.
  • Service, clean, and restock restrooms as needed.
