Responsibilities:

  • Perform various floor care tasks such as cleaning, buffing, and refinishing floors in resident rooms, common areas, and administrative offices.
  • Safely and efficiently operate floor care equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of floor care activities and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor.
  • Adhere to infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a hygienic environment.
  • Provide excellent customer service through positive interactions with residents, staff, and guests.
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Previous experience in floor care is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Possess a positive attitude and effective communication skills to collaborate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is required.
  • Ability to lift and carry a maximum weight of 50 pounds, push or pull the same weight, and engage in standing, sitting, bending, and walking for extended periods.
  • Capability to perform routine, repetitive tasks consistently.
  • Comfortable working around food and cleaning products.
  • Ability to follow both oral and written instructions.
  • Residency within the service area is required.
