Position Summary

  • Heavy Housekeeper / Floor Technician: Responsible for maintenance of various floor types, including dust and wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, and extraction in areas such as offices, resident rooms, corridors, lobbies, entrances, stairwells, and dining rooms. Duties include collecting and properly disposing of trash, recycling, and soiled linen.
  • Safety: Ensure adherence to safety standards while utilizing protective gear and correctly mixing and applying cleaning solutions. Report any equipment or product issues to supervisors timely and maintain a sanitary environment following infection control and universal precautions.
  • Punctuality: Maintain consistent attendance and timely completion of assigned tasks according to the schedule, responding promptly to paging systems as needed.
  • Customer Experience: Represent HCSG positively by following instructions and maintaining courteous and cooperative interactions with supervisors, colleagues, and client staff.
  • Resident Engagement: Interact positively and tactfully with residents, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and the ability to follow both oral and written instructions effectively.
  • Upon completing training, exercise leadership skills to fulfill responsibilities independently while ensuring safety.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Ability to arrive at work as scheduled and on time.
