Position Summary
- Heavy Housekeeper / Floor Technician: Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of hard surfaces and carpets, including dust and wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, and extraction in various areas such as offices, resident rooms, corridors, lobbies, entrances, stairwells, and public dining areas. Duties also include collecting and disposing of trash, recycling, and soiled linens, as well as performing outdoor maintenance as required.
- Safety: Comply with safety protocols for the use of protective gear and cleaning solutions. Report equipment and product needs to a supervisor promptly and adhere to established safety, quality, and infection control standards to maintain a sanitary environment.
- Punctuality: Ensure consistent attendance and punctuality, complete assigned tasks in a timely manner, and respond appropriately to paging systems.
- Customer Experience: Represent HCSG positively by adhering to instructions and demonstrating courteous behavior toward supervisors, co-workers, and clients.
- Resident Experience: Engage in positive interactions with residents, staff, and guests.
Qualifications
- Exhibit a positive attitude and proficiency in following both oral and written instructions, capable of performing repetitive tasks daily.
- After completing appropriate training, demonstrate leadership skills by performing responsibilities independently and safely.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Must maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Compliance with COVID-19 Vaccination Policies is required.
- Ability to lift/carry and push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, and to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Capability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
- Must be able to work in proximity to food and cleaning products.
- Residency in the service area is required.
