Position Summary:

  • Heavy Housekeeper / Floor Technician: Responsible for comprehensive floor maintenance, including dust and wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction, and bonneting, across various areas such as offices, resident rooms, corridors, lobbies, entrances, stairwells, and public spaces, including dining areas. Duties also encompass collecting and properly disposing of trash, recycling, and soiled linens. Additional outdoor tasks may be assigned as needed.

  • Safety: Adhere to safety protocols by utilizing protective gear, following safe practices for mixing and using cleaning solutions, and promptly reporting equipment or cleaning product issues to a supervisor. Maintain high standards for safety and quality by following infection control practices and universal precautions.

  • Punctuality: Maintain consistent attendance and timely arrival, completing assigned cleaning tasks according to schedule and responding promptly to paging requests.

  • Customer Experience: Ensure a positive representation of HCSG by following guidelines and fostering a cooperative environment with supervisors, colleagues, and client staff.

  • Resident Experience: Engage in positive, courteous interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests.

Qualifications:
