Pay: $15 per hour

At Great Wolf, the Food and Beverage Attendant plays a pivotal role in ensuring positive guest experiences by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and processing transactions in a friendly and efficient manner across various quick-service restaurants and food outlets within the lodge.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with guests to take food and beverage orders.
  • Prepare customer food and beverage orders with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and engage in suggestive selling techniques.
  • Maintain equipment by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating necessary repairs.
  • Assist with merchandising functions, including display and store design, inventory receiving, stocking, and pricing of merchandise.
  • Handle cash transactions, operate the point-of-sale (POS) system, and conduct daily reporting.
  • Ensure that food and beverage outlets meet the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service.
  • Adhere to operating procedure guidelines to ensure the daily operations of the retail outlet run smoothly.
  • Provide assistance in other food outlets as required.

Basic Qualifications & Skills:

  • Completion of some High School education or equivalent.
  • Flexibility regarding scheduling based on business needs.
  • Proficiency in basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Demonstrated customer service and communication skills; ability to read and interpret English language manuals related to safety, operations, and procedures.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening.
