Job Description
Job Title: FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER(PART TIME)
Company: Compass Group
Location: East Lansing, MI
Pay: $15 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: As of my last update in October 2023, an hourly rate of $15 for a part-time food service worker/cashier in East Lansing, MI, is generally competitive but may vary depending on several factors such as location, experience, and specific employer standards. The average wage for similar roles in the Midwest typically ranges from $12 to $18 per hour, with more experienced workers or those in high-demand settings potentially earning higher rates. In East Lansing, a college town with a significant student population, rates may reflect local living costs and competition with other part-time opportunities, making $15 an appealing offer, particularly for entry-level positions. However, it’s essential to consider factors such as benefits, work environment, and opportunities for advancement when evaluating overall compensation.
